| On Sunday, February 22 BackCountry residents came to the Discovery Center for an informative and interactive seminar on Coyotes. Megan Wilhite, Metro District Park Ranger, discussed the coyotes in length, gladly answered questions residents had and gave safety tips on how to avoid confrontations with local coyotes that are a growing concern for communities. At the conclusion of the seminar the children enjoyed crafting a mold of a coyote and fox paw print as take home souvenirs.
